Mistletoe's Asylum

Yes, well, you might not think I've been anywhere but the trauma. My internet connection decided not to work. I battled for 6 hours on Saturday night and couldn't save it. So I had to start again. Consequently I lost all bookmarks, all saved email with various useful bits of information in them and the ability to sleep. Now I'm back and slowly rebuilding. With any luck the same thing will happen as the last time I had a meltdown and the favourites list will magically reappear. I hope so cos I had some individual posts on there from when I didn't have a journal.

A lot of things happened today.

It won't let me bullet!
* After 3 hours sleep I woke up feeling rather queer and bathed in sweat. I then proceeded to throw up 3 times over an hour.
* 8.30 Sky man phoned to say he would arrive between 11 and 1. Feeling a bit better, I nibbled on a dry brown bread bun.
* Durham had to wait for the rain to clear to complete their first one day final victory, admittedly on a 2nd day but they were never in difficulty. Collingwood took three key wickets but Ottis Gibson was correctly name man of the match.
* The Sky man arrived at 11.10 and fixed me up with HD in less than an hour so I was able to see the closing overs in brilliant quality pictures. I followed this up with two football games. Aaah can't wait for Bones.
* Managed to eat most of my dinner.

I will draw a veil over Saturday.

Horrid wet weather all day today. You would never guess it was the middle of August. I have the heating on and I am struggling to see my keyboard in the gloom and it's only 7 o'clock! The nights are certainly drawing in.

For those following my mousecapades I've caught another two. Bugger!
